Whilst it appears I haven't acquired the skillset to upload a video yet, the Fertile Grounds and other
interviews will have to wait! Here's my opinion en-short:
Fertile Grounds is a place to go and enjoy some 'green' accomodations as well as a natural
setting in an old Colonial style home which has been converted into a Bed and Breakfast. If you're
sensitive to smells, cleaning agents and other normal hotel accomodations, this is the haven you've been
looking for! Located in downtown Olympia WA, you can delight in the artful decorum of your lovely
hosts, Gail and Karen. Of course, they offer breakfast, with ingredients from the garden (fresh eggs too) and other local community food purveyors (farmers).
Karen is a wonderful CraftsWoman who has quite literally decorated and adorned the house with her handiwork and wares. The gardens are natures gift from Gail the Divine Goddess of (Hummous) and other community members working diligently with the Earth Mother to reuse and recycle the dirt, food scraps, animal manuer, and lastly minerals to create an incredible hummous that we gardeners covet. That's right, Im talking about COMPOST! Not technical enough? Well, my friends, take a class. That's what I did. You can sign up through the Olympia CO-OP, where there's a host of classes for free to the community to learn the arts of living closer to the earth, (Homesteading). You can do a search in your own community to find the like.
